A bit of online casino history
Online casinos showed up in the mid-1990s. Most of the “strategy” that followed was already wrong: systems that can't beat a negative-expectation game, 6:5 blackjack being sold as the same as 3:2, and casino reviews that could have been written by the bonus department.
Black-Jack.Net went live in 2011. We acquired the domain in 2009, and launched around 20 February 2011. The point of staying is not nostalgia. It is pattern recognition. Brands change names. Licenses move. A table that paid 3:2 last year may not this year. When that happens, we'll have it documented.
Editorial judgment here is blackjack-first. If an online casino is loud about slots and quiet about the blackjack rules, that is a fact we keep track of. A big bonus does't fix predatory game rules or bad behavior.
