Responsible Gambling

Black-jack.net exists so people can learn how blackjack works and practice for free. It is not a way to make money. The house has an edge. Strategy lowers that edge. It does not remove it, and it does not turn gambling into an income plan.

If you play for real money, you should be able to walk away. When gambling starts to cover bills, mood, or sleep, it has stopped being a game. Stop. Joc Responsabil will talk to you, and it will talk to someone who is worried about you. The help is free. A counsellor is also on their site around the clock. We do not receive the call.

Before it gets worse

Set a limit you can lose
Decide the money and the time before you open a cashier. When either one is gone, stop. Do not move the number because the last hand felt close.
Take a break
A session that runs through sleep, work, or a bill is already too long. Close the table. The cards will still be there.
No under-18 marketing
We do not write casino pages for anyone under 18, and we do not dress blackjack as a way for a student to make rent.
Don't chase
A loss is not a debt the next shoe owes you. Raising the bet to get even is how a bad hour becomes a bad month.

0800 800 099 is not open at night. A counsellor stays on jocresponsabil.ro around the clock. For a suicidal crisis, the Romanian Alliance for Suicide Prevention answers 0800 801 200 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 19:00 to 07:00. The call is free. You can also write to [email protected] at any hour. If someone is in immediate danger, call 112.

The National Office for Gambling (ONJN) keeps a self-exclusion list. You can file it in person at an ONJN office with your identity document, and a filing made there is processed on the spot. You can also email [email protected] with a qualified electronic signature, or send a notarial declaration or a declaration attested by a lawyer to that address. A licensed operator can take the request and has to forward it within two working days. The bar stays until you file a request to withdraw it. A bar on that list does not close an account at a casino that does not check it. Ask that casino to close the account as well. ONJN explains the steps at onjn.gov.ro.

A limit you set with one casino does not close an account that casino does not run. We cannot self-exclude you from an operator. We do not take bets, and we cannot reverse a deposit.

A listing is not a licence

A casino listing on this site is not a statement that the casino holds a Romanian licence. Read the review, then read the operator's own terms before you deposit.

Can you block me from a casino?

No. We do not run those sites. You can put yourself on the ONJN self-exclusion list, and you can ask each casino you use to close your account.
